Being a Texan hub of innovation and visionaries, it’s no secret that Austin is full of creative beings of all types. Where there is a creative pulse, there are artists and makers a bounty. When it comes to sourcing furniture and decor for clients’ homes, it always makes it so much sweeter and special when we can pull a few pieces from the local Austin craftspeople themselves: artists, ceramicists, woodworkers, furniture makers - you name it! Having a heightened sentimental connection to the objects that fill your home can take a home from feeling like it’s cut-and-pasted to making it feel like it’s personalized and unique unto itself. Better yet, knowing the name and face behind a piece makes it feel that much more meaningful. Supporting local and supporting small is always a win for everyone!
